A One-Woman Band, Koburg is back with her latest symphonic single “Strike Back” available everywhere now. The Rock songstress writes and performs all the music she releases herself and has been met with rave reviews. She has two previous albums Enchantress and Position of Power. She is in the studio working on her third album, still planning to play all the instruments on the record. Koburg even learned both cello and violin during the 2020 lockdown.
“Strike Back” is electric in every sense of the word. The track opens with chilling piano and is met with driving drums. The electric guitars soar throughout the song. Koburg’s range and emotion in her voice is unmatched. The lyrics tackle the story of someone at their lowest but knowing that they will make it back to the top and “live again.” The song is reminiscent of Canadian-Rock group Marianas Trench, who have a presence in the symphonic rock sound. She is a blazing example of the return of rock in the mainstream, as well as more woman at the front of the rock scene.
Koburg shared her inspiration with us, “Strike Back is inspired by my struggles with Myalgic Encephalomyelitis and Agoraphobia. It is a song about battling and defeating obstacles in one’s path. Whether they be physical, mental, emotional or spiritual. The song is a must-listen for anyone who needs some motivational rock music; it is an anthem for everyone trying to find their new normal in the world since the pandemic.
