Everything but the Everything is a name that you are probably very familiar with and you may be even more familiar with the name Sophia Prise, this is not the first time she’s been featured on a track with Everything but the Everything. The Oakland CA band is a collaborative project that is led by Izzy The Gent. He writes the music then reaches out to various musicians and friends for help.
“Never Said” is the latest track from the group of musicians, which features vocalist Sophia Prise, drummer Landon Cisneros, guitarist, and bassist Izzy the Gent, and producer Rex Shelverton. This is the third time this group has collaborated together and it is everything you want and more.
Landon brings you in with the 80s post-punk drum vibe, it makes you feel like you are in your own personal music video then Sophia comes in with the light angelic vocals. This song shows the true skill and passion behind this group, although they aren’t all “officially” a band, when they make music like this it sure feels like it.
“Never Said” is a dark-sounding track that you will instantly fall in love with, it makes you want to dance and also cry at the same time. The most important thing of all is that it makes you feel, it’s great when a song can understand you or make you feel deeper emotions than just sadness or anger or happiness. Everything but the Everything and Sophia need to make it official because the group is unmatched.
