“Cupidtised” by Kaiwyn feat Celyn Chow

Dusting off a song lost to the vault in 2010, Australian based artist Kaiwyn has released his love struck single “Cupidised” available everywhere now. The two words that were combined were “Cupid” and “traumatised,” showing the pair navigating the rush and excitement of new love. The female vocalist Celyn Chow, lead singer of Night Skies and Visions, was found on a freelance services site, after Kaiwyn searched through a dozen colleagues and local musicians.

The two share a love for pop punk, and luckily so did producer Simon Dobson, allowing real magic to be created with modern flair and touches of 2000s nostalgia. Kaiwyn knew he wanted to include a variety of key changes to the track, and it definitely adds to the “end of an early 2000s romcom” feeling that I think they were going for.
