Fans of Los Angeles-based hip-hop artist Xrick Saenzx know him for many positive traits, but above all just might be his consistency. Releasing a plethora of singles regularly since debuting their music a few short years ago, they have never given their audience’s enthusiasm for their work a chance to atrophy for even a moment. Defined by their unique sound that blends a classic baritone style of vocal delivery with a modern sense of rhythmic accompaniment. Their newest single “Till The End Of Our Days” shines a beacon of their accomplishments as it delivers a smooth flow with a lyrically-motivated message.
The piece opens with a soft series of notes from a keyboard before the track’s tempo picks up as the artist’s words begin the narrative, setting the emotional tone early with the opening lyrics “I shot for your head and hit your heart, you stumped me with your shell like Mario Kart. Making love, its like we making art, this gon’ last like death do us part.”
We feel the artist’s raw ambition shine through with every verse, as the track seems to embody not only the drive they have for their work but the passion they feel for every aspect of their lives, displaying not only a desire but a need to find happiness in every aspect of their lives. It is clear that hard work is not only far from a deterrent for this artist, but in part an aspect of what attracts them to it, best put by their own words “If I gotta grind extra, I can live with that.”
