“All I Ever Knew“ by Sangeeta

Up-and-coming artist Sangeeta’s new single, “All I Ever Knew,” is a melodic blend of early 2000s pop with hints of rock and indie, creating a unique and genre-fusing body of art. It feels like a sweet slice of the end of summer–serving as a hello to fall, with a sound that is both nostalgic and fresh.

Singer-songwriter Sangeeta is a South Asian artist from Calgary, Alberta. Originally from London, UK, Sangeeta was immersed in the world of music at an early age, listening to artists ranging from the Spice Girls to Michael Jackson. Her debut 2018 single, “Ride High,” was produced by DJ A-Slam (Hussein Aladina) at GPS (Global Party Starters) Music. Since then, she has only continued to create unique and uplifting music.

“All I Ever Knew” takes listeners on a personal journey, beginning with a melancholy tune highlighting Sangeeta’s deep-toned vocals. As the song progresses, the instrumental becomes more robust and intense, mirroring Sangeeta’s emotional journey. The intensity of the vocals and instrumental resonates with the lyrical aspect of the track—saying farewell to toxic relationships and embracing new beginnings. Sangeeta’s journey is one of transformation, and her music invites listeners to relate.

“All I Ever Knew” was written and produced by Jessica Taylor, a talented producer and artist based in the US. The song is available on all major music streaming platforms now. Also stay tuned for Sangeeta’s upcoming debut EP, “Escape,” coming soon.
