Q: Hey Naomi, your EP is so powerful and emotional. What is your favorite song from it?
NAOMI: Thank you so much! It’s fair to say that the EP titled song “In My Home” is the most powerful and emotional. It also happens to be my favorite.
Q: How has growing up in Long Beach, CA influenced your music?
NAOMI: Long Beach is a very artistic place full of creatives and music lovers. I’ve met dozens of people who have inspired me to freely create and do what I love.
Q: Why this E.P.? Why now?
NAOMI: I write and create what’s in my heart. This EP was current to what I was feeling at the time. It’s also a product of the COVID-19 lockdown. The name “In My Home” meaning in my heart fit perfectly for this time in the world.
Q: We love female producers and see you produce for other artists, who is one of your favorite artists to produce for?
NAOMI: I am a very new producer so most of my production is co-produced as of right now. I love creating songs with my producer and best friend Daniel Robert. He’s also a great artist as well.
Q: Who are you inspired by?
NAOMI:I follow and listen to tons of independent artists everyday. A few of my favorites are Jaz Karis, Joyce Wrice and Healy. Their hustle and motivation inspire me to be a better artist as well.
Q: What can we expect from you within the next 6 months? Any releases planned? Future gigs?
NAOMI: Absolutely! I have a new single coming out very very soon. I’m also in the process of filming a music video for this song as well. I recently moved to LA and plan on doing local performances with other artists.
