Getting ready to release their debut full-length album, Jack Swing have given us a peak into its sound with ‘Daydreams’, a love song with an enamoring, catchy melody and stunning production quality.
The band is made up of Isaiah Ross (Vocals/Guitar), Rowdy Kanarek (background vocals, bass), Isaiah Small (keys), Jonah Handler (guitar) and Alex Nelson (drums). Formed in 2016 by Isaiah Ross and Rowdy Karanek in Pittsburgh, PA, the two began developing the bands unique sound through harnessing influences such as Zeppelin, Hendrix, Nirvana, Black Sabbath and Queens of the Stone Age. After spending years in numerous bands in various parts of the country, Ross and Kanarek decided it was time to start of band in their hometown that represented the feelings of fire, inspiration, and beauty that was found in so many of these influences.
‘Daydreams’ is a celebration of love in its purest form. Housing the appeal of a great rhythm section alongside poetic lyrics and passionate performances marks this track as something above the rest. It’s so much more than your everyday love song and encourages you to love yourself with every beat.
This first single and the rest of the upcoming album were recorded at The Church Recording Studio in Pittsburgh PA with Dave Hidek as the engineer, Hidek and the band on production, and Garrett Haines of Treelady Studios on mastering.
