Vancouver-based singer-songwriter Pennan Brae, releases first single of 2022, “Zulu”. The upcoming album “Picked” and it will feature new single “Zulu”. Brae is influenced by rock and roll of the 1970s and 80s and it shows in his music.

“Zulu” starts off with the whispers of Pennan Brae over a guitar riff that just won’t quit. The story of the song is drama between a couple; the chase and pursuit, the highs and lows. If you have ever been in a relationship, you know exactly that feeling of exhaustion.

This is the song you hear in a bar and immediately start dancing, it is an upbeat and a fun song. Pennan Brae has released several songs and shows no signs of slowing down. If any of his next songs are anything like “Zulu” then they will instantly be a hit. He is known for making hit after hit so that wouldn’t be a surprise.

“Oh I lose my head & I don’t know what to do, Quickly spin around but I just don’t have a clue, Try to stick together but it all comes unglued, Flag a cab at midnight but I don’t speak Zulu”. Iconic line in the song, once your mind starts to freak out it gets hard to get back to reality…you become unglued.

Pennan Brae will be around for more decades to come, you won’t regret listening to any or all of his songs. “Zulu” will get you hooked on Pennan.
