Bursting Wonderland is an international rock duo from Galway, Ireland. Vocalist and lyricist Ania Chmielewska started Bursting Wonderland because she has this unfulfilled dream of recording an album. Ania was born and raised in Poland and after she moved to Ireland and met Mimmo in person, Anna was even more motivated to start a band.Mimmo Ripa is an extremely talented and experienced musician. He has talents in songwriting, arrangements, bass, guitars, backing vocals, and artistic production. He was born and raised in Italy, living in Ireland for a decade at that time, after some reluctance, Mimmo joined Bursting Wonderland.
“Bursting Wonderland’s aim is to exist and be honest, believe in what it is worth to live, to praise culture, love, romance, hard work, empathy. To react and revolt to any passive – aggressive, toxic, corrupted way to look at the world, to go against driving world into a dark place.”
“Summer’s End” is a very dark and nostalgic sounding song, when you hear the vocals of Ania, you instantly get transported to another time. Although they are self described as rock band, “Summer’s End” provides a post punk sound and aesthetic, the guitar and vocals just mesh perfectly.
You won’t be able to stop yourself from falling in love with this perfect duo, they grasp onto your heart and won’t let go. “Summer’s End” is the song you’ve been waiting for, the single was released off the duos album “David and Goliath” back in 2021.
