You have been living under a rock with Patrick Star if you haven’t heard of UK band Fonzy & Company. The five piece band originally started 3 years ago in May of 2019, vocalist and guitarist Fonzy Armour and long time friends vocalist Olivia Jury and drummer Sam Bennett were originally a trio. Later on Fonzy went to the good ole social media and found lead guitarist Lauren Hannah and bassist Sam Lane.
“The Kids Stay Home” is the fourth single from Fonzy & Company, it follows the successful release of “Beyond My Control”. According to the group this single describes an outlook of disdain from your fellow man. Are you ready to travel back to the early 2000s? The nostalgia that “The Kids Stay Home” brings is something you’ve been longing for.
Vocally Olivia and Fonzy are the perfect match, they bring the song to an entirely different level. Right when you get into the song, they hit you right in the gut with an epic guitar solo, something every great song needs. You will be in your bedroom dancing away, maybe reminiscing or maybe thinking about what is currently happening in your life.
