“Uno” by Roxx Revolt & the Velvets

Roxx Revolt & the Velvets are a band that you may already know and love, the four piece from Naples, FL has just released long awaited EP “Uno”. Bringing you in with the enticing vocals and mesmerizing guitar riffs is Rexx Revolt, the one who makes you hear your heartbeat is bassist Dan Heath, Jake Shockley’s guitar skills brings the madness and drummer Chris Camp. Even though they were formed only in 2018, the group has already made their mark on many people.

“Run for Cover” was the first teaser of the year that the group brought to you, the story between the power struggle fo abuser and their victim and in this scenario the victim takes control and stands up to the injustice. This unstoppable song will bring on the moshing and headbanging, “Run for Cover” is the perfect introduction for “Uno”. The group is set to release a vampire inspired music video to match the cinematic song.

Their most popular song “Get High” has grabbed the attention of what seems like everyone and it’s no wonder why. The nostalgic, old school song is an instant classic, watching them be themselves and having fun in the video make you wish you were part of the crew. Lyrically “Get High” confronts reality and how you only have one shot to make your life count.

The last song from the EP does not disappoint, “Caroline” is a hard hitting shows that they know how to start a party. This song makes you want to break your face and maybe run your head through the wall. The story of “Carolina” is the tale of a night out that turn seductive, they keep you hooked with their lyrics and guitar riffs.

“Uno” is the EP you need in your life, it’s fun, rock fueled and hard to not love. The four piece group brings all the vibes, luckily they have plenty of music for you to enjoy, you won’t be able to stop yourself from playing more of “Roxx Revolt & the Velvets.
