“Tell Emma” by Homes at Night

Pop rock anthems are something you can’t help but to love, it reels you in with is catchiness. Homes At Night is a duo from Nashville, TN, songwriters Hank Compton and Askel Cole create sounds that you won’t be able to resist. The two have an EP release planned for later this year “If You Were a Stranger” will have an intense storyline, indie vibes but also sticking to their Nashville roots.

“Tell Emma” is the second single from the two piece band, their first release “Bonnaroo” received major traction. So naturally there was major excitement for this second release. They will not disappoint you with “Tell Emma”, the track has a throwback feel to it and instantly transports you to 2001.

Life was a bit simpler back then and it’s easy to stay in the mindset and forget about what going on presently. It’s almost as if you’re avoiding something or maybe someone, “Tell Emma” is about being avoidant in a relationship and not ending it when you know you should.

The reason Homes At Night is gaining such popularity and becoming your favorite song is because they make songs that are relatable. When an artist gives you a reason to come back then that’s exactly what you’re going to do, sit back, relax and enjoy your new favorite band.
