Well, NOVACUB does and if you don’t, you’ll be yearning for it after hearing the title track from her latest EP This is Forever. The song perfectly encapsulates those little moments that make the whole world stand still.
The song from Louise Bartell’s solo project NOVACUB, is an unabashed love song to her girlfriend.
My favorite part of this indie pop gem is that Bartell admits to being clueless about how she is going to approach this relationship. She sings, “Oh damn, I don’t know what I’m doing. No plan. No plan. I’m winning til I’m losing.” But she does not need to know. She may not be prepared but she has no anxiety about it. This is the way she feels and she is ready and willing to explore it. The track is a hopeful moment for Bartell.
