Colorado rapper 6ixth Element’s new single, “Warzone” (featuring Tragedy Khadafi, Ruste Juxx, and Mr. Blap), is a hard-hitting hip-hop/neo-soul track with meaningful lyrics, a captivating instrumental, and an addicting hook that won’t get out of your head for days. “Warzone” was released on June 6th, 2023, and is an enthralling song about mental and physical health, family, and tragedy, to name a few of the harsh but critical topics that are discussed.
The Colorado hip-hop artist joined forces with New York artists Tragedy Khadafi, Ruste Juxx, and singer Mr. Blap. The gritty and soulful production comes from Ukrainian beatmaker KD The Stranger. “Warzone” showcases every artist’s unique rapping skills with infectious beats and significant lyrics.
The song begins off with an ultra-sultry and groovy instrumental, consisting of drums and synths, and then the profound lyrics from the hook arrive: “I come from the Warzone; raised in a battlefield, all I see is tragedy,” highlighting that this song is more than just a riveting hook. Each artist goes into detail about the “warzones” they have been through in their verses, whether physical, mental, or spiritual.
6ixth Element began his musical journey at a young age. He started producing hip-hop at the age of 14 and also studied Audio Engineering and Music Business at KMG Studios in Boulder, Colorado. With his unique skills and impeccable craft, 6ixth Element has used these to create meaningful music and his official record label, New Golden Era Hip-Hop.
Be on the lookout for 6ixth Element, and all other artists featured on “Warzone,” as they are just getting started. 6ixth Element’s record label New Golden Era Hip-Hop, is guaranteed to get some fantastic artists on their roster, and I, for one, am excited for the future of these artists and label.
