“Sparks of Joy“ by David An

Multidimensional composer, producer, and artist David An’s new single, “Sparks of Joy,” is a spacey, hazy instrumental work of art. Filled with heavy synths, melancholic keys, and electrifying sounds, it is a truly memorable experience for listeners. 

With 1980s elements and David’s unique use of non-conventional sounds, this experimental track is a departure from the norm, almost resembling the opening to a horror space video game. In just over two minutes, David An takes the listener on a nearly hallucinatory, hypnotic journey, which is a captivating musical experience. 

“Sparks of Joy” opens with an instrumental that is almost mind-altering due to its diverse sound elements, which aren’t typically heard in music. A high-pitch synth arrives, adding a foreboding component to the track. The melodic keys heard in the back are spine-tingling and incredibly engaging, drawing the listener in. For the final minute, the synth becomes more powerful and robust, creating a sense of intensity for the listener.  

David An is responsible for writing, composing, producing, and releasing all his music. He is currently participating in a self–challenge to release a song every month, and “Sparks of Joy” is his second release in this installment. “Sparks of Joy” is now available on all major music streaming platforms.
