CHINSON uses tense elements, such as deep, pulsing bass and eerie, rippling synth textures, to craft an emotional experience in the listener. Intimately whispered vocals make the listener lean in close to hear foreboding (yet fun) lines like “don’t kill my vibe” and “party like we’re about to die.” These restless lyrics, combined with the anticipatory production, makes it feel like the stakes of this song are very high. It’s a perfect club track for when a night feels like anything could happen, with many different emotions all coming to a head.
One of the special things about “Vibe” is that nearly every element is offering either a catchy rhythm or an ear candy melody, oftentimes both.
