“Hondo Silencio” by Parte de la Niebla

“Hondo Silencio” is a captivating song that effortlessly blends pop and rock, using riveting rhythms and catchy melodies that make for a uniquely satisfying listening experience. Parte de la Niebla is a solo project created by composer and musician Andres Constantino, an innovative artist from Argentina. He worked with two other artists to bring this song to life, featuring Alejo Alvarez on drums and percussion and Arnaldo Dárdano on guitar. “Hondo Silencio” is the debut single for Parte de la Niebla, and it sets the tone for the meaningful work that Constantino will be offering through this project.

The energy of this song has a great ebb and flow, with some sections propped up by steady drum rhythms and electric guitar stabs, while other sections use acoustic guitar strumming and thrumming bass as their backbone. This allows the song to have an eclectic and satisfying journey from start to finish. Throughout the track, the vocal is passionate and soothing, with ear candy melodies that draw you in. Percussion provides some extra fun, and electric guitars sometimes take the lead melody for a change in energy as well.

“Hondo Silencio” translates to “deep silence” in English, and it seems this story is about a relationship full of unsaid words, so much so that the other person seems unattainable and unreachable. The narrator doesn’t fill the silence, and neither does the other person, leaving a lot of questions up in the air. The long instrumental outro mainly made up of light tapping drums and subtle guitar poignantly mirrors this silent conversation.
