“Balance” is a heartwarming folk pop tune by Ellie Walker & The Folly, a dynamic five-piece band from Cambridge. Joyful, catchy melodies captivate the listener while vulnerable and hopeful lyrics tell the story of someone trying to find the right balance in life. Whether it’s managing relationships, working on self-improvement, or chasing your dreams, feeling like you’re doing life “right” is almost impossible. There’s always one thing or another that we feel we are giving too much, or too little, attention to, and it can be hard to fix that. Ellie Walker & The Folly examine those ups and downs here as they search for balance. 

Uplifting and understated guitar strumming opens the song, quickly joined by a thrumming bass part that adds a bouncing groove, as well as the smooth and inviting main vocal.
