mUmbo is back with a wonderful new track called “Fringe Benefits” and it’s wild whoosh of fresh air. If you haven’t heard of them before, here you go, this is your introduction to something you never knew you needed.
This song has us falling in slow motion and we don’t ever want to stop. The vocal ability that mUmbo has is incredible and there is so much to love.
This is a band that we hope and pray never stops creating music, and never stops contributing to the musical world.
The band describes this track by saying, “The song alludes to the social and personal challenges of our time. Sonically, it mines the rich vein of retro blues rock and alt rock. A song for, and of, our times.”
“Fringe Benefits” is one that will live on forever, as it contains a set of old-timey instruments that have us imagining that we are walking on an endless dirt road with the sun hot and we are trying to figure out our lives.
We love this band for creating stories with their lyrics and we cannot wait for the visuals to drop!
