“Nothing Right” by Coma Beach

Channel a haunting rage with Coma Beach’s new song “Nothing Right.” The German band plays along the lines of alternative rock and pop. This song is the second track from the band’s album The Scapegoat’s Agony.

“Nothing Right,” like the rest of the upcoming LP, draws a lot of inspiration from a variety of authors. The whole project itself follows an unnamed hero and in this song talks about the utter meaningless of the world while taking a satirical-sarcastic approach. It is very well thought out in terms of theme and the band executes the song with ease.

The song’s production is loud and wild. The heavy bass introduces the track with raspy loud vocals to match the energy. The anger is controlled and coming from a place of real frustration. “Tell me the meaning of my life,” echoes throughout the song and returns the listener to those themes of questioning self-worth and the meaning of life. This sound shows the band’s diversity with intense and thoughtful lyrics paired with headbanger rock – catering to those both introspective and those just wanting to rock out.

When asked about the message the band wanted listeners to take away, they shared, “Taking stock of his deeply lamentable existence so far, the unnamed antihero erupts into a harrowing scream of anguish and disbelief.”

The project overall is exciting, and the band has a clear message and vision when it comes to their music. They are proving that mainstream music can talk about these harder hitting topics in a way that is fun and meaningful, which is not an easy thing to do.

So go listen to the single “Nothing Right” as well as the album The Scapegoat’s Agony!
