“A Little Life“ by Mumbo

Indie rock band Mumbo’s new single, “A Little Life,” is a timeless piece that will transport you back in time. The hypnotic melody and captivating lyrics create a calming atmosphere that will resonate with listeners of all generations. The sound is nostalgic yet fresh, never stagnant, and continues to generate excitement. “A Little Life” will linger in your head–its captivating aurora connecting you to its timeless quality.

London-based group Mumbo consists of vocalist Emma Semple (also viola and violin), Doug MacGowan (electric/acoustic guitar, bass), and Antonio Dale (drums, percussion.) Together, the two have created a sound that will enthrall any listeners—stopping to think if this is an older song and then being shocked to hear that something this special is newly released.

Emma’s vocals in “A Little Life” bring an angelic calmness to the track. Her voice, somewhat reminiscent of artists such as Stevie Nicks or Hope Sandoval of Mazzy Star, has a distinct sound that is uniquely Mumbo’s. The repeated line, “Don’t close your eyes,” echoes throughout, creating an ultra-catchy and addicting element to the song.

“A Little Life” was recorded and self-produced on the South Coast of England. The track is available on all major music streaming platforms.
