“Slow Down“ by Caring Less

“Slow Down” by Caring Less is a riveting indie rock track with an enveloping atmosphere and a gripping narrative. Caring Less, a band based in Philly, showcases their uniquely captivating artistry with the impressive instrumentation and visceral lyrics in this song. The track explores the tumultuous story of a love that is falling apart, but the narrator desperately wants to hold onto it. The song strips down to just strumming guitar and vocals after the second chorus as the vocal whispers “whatever, whatever, whatever you want” over and over. This, along with the passionate, out of control belting, shows just how desperate the narrator is for this love, and how helpless she is to stop wanting it.
