Universal Artists To Watch (March 2021)

We at Rising Artists Blog are excited to partner with Universal Music to showcase and share with you a collection of our favorite recent releases from a few incredible rising talents. For March 2021, we have hand-selected five songs that will be right at home on your spring playlist.

First up, we have “Carried Away” by LA-based artist Surf Mesa featuring Madison Beer, a soft, pensive love song with light acoustic guitar and flowing instrumentation that perfectly supports Madison Beer’s effortless, dreamy voice.

Next up is “Nothing Left” by Cedar Rapids-based artist Ted When, an abstract, understated electronic symphony that showcases When’s fascinating orchestration, pleasantly relaxed voice, and captivating vocal harmonies.

“Mannequin” by Canadian artist BAD CHILD will grab your attention with driving rhythmic synths and striking, confident vocals that fluctuate between steady melodies and syncopated, conversational lines.

Next is Evan Giia’s latest single “Stay Up”, a nostalgic, thoughtful ode to her home of Brooklyn, New York. “Stay Up” boasts catchy electronic accompaniment that accents Giia’s soaring voice and impeccable vocal decorations.

Last, but certainly not least, is Chicago-based Feather’s debut single “Juke”, an R&B tune marked by Feather’s serene voice, fun and clever lyrics, and surprising rhythms that will have you heading to the dance floor.
