“We Have No Time (For Now)” by Morning Trips

Together for four years now, the four piece band Morning Trips was created in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. Three months ago in April Morning Trips released their first single of 2021 “Assault.” They are now back with a new song that has a nostalgic MTV inspired video with 2020’s aspects.

The video starts with a young man building a time machine, he succeeds and proceeds to travel to the past and perhaps even the future. He first travels to 1996 and continues into 2003 and ends with 2021, it shows the different styles that “We Have No Time (For Now)” would have in certain generations. It beautifully captures the vibe and the correct fashion for each era. When doing throwback videos it is imperative that you are accurate in the clothing or it can off put your entire video. Morning Trips did their research and it shows, this pop punk song lets you travel back in time. Morning Trips isn’t afraid to be themselves, with the video starting in ’96 with Brady wearing an oversized button up, and ending in 2021 with Brady wearing red lipstick, it’s clear that Morning Trips respectfully does what they want.

“We want to create a world with the same mentality of how we want to exist in the real world. We want to create open, progressive, and diverse music for people from all walks of life to find something of solace in.” – Brady Lynch.
