In May of 2020 four friends from Gdansk, Poland started a rock band called Snakedoctors. Vocalist and guitarist Wojciech Wypych, bassits Jaroslaw “Jerry” Szybowski, Jacek Karnat on the keyboard and drummer Robert Porazka,started playing music for fun but something changed and now they have two albums and eleven singles out.
Snakedoctors describe their music as “back to simple rock and roll” and their third single “Bubba Does” is exactly that. What started out to be a joke song turned out to be a story that happens too often. It is a love story song – happy for one and unhappy for someone else. Snakedoctors says it is one of those stories about love….the one in love comes with flowers, good word and good intentions and the other one, sure in no love, gets what will not ever be reachable for the first one.
When listening to “Bubba Does” it takes you into this post punk, futuristic vibe. Just like in the music video, when you hear “Bubba Does” it makes you want to let loose and dance. At some point in your life, you may have been in a one sided relationship and the whole situation just completely sucks, this newest single accurately pinpoints those feelings.
“Bubba Does” is the third single off their new upcoming Snakedoctors album “Mellow Joy” due to be out in just tomorrow on Oct 22. With over 10,000 followers on Spotify and up to 500,000 listens on their top hits, it is very clear that they are giving you guys what you want.
