If there is one emotion that never fails to inspire artists in every medium around the world, it’s love. It’s the foundation for the relationships we hold dear whether they be platonic or romantic as that feeling has the power to make us feel everything from joy to sadness. Dieg0 captures the various hills and valleys of one aspect of love in a song inspired by all that comes with a relationship, and that is “Insieme.”
Those not well-versed in Italian, “Insieme” means together and that was the foundation for the entirety of the song when Dieg0 sat down and allowed it to flow from him. There are very few things in life we’re truly on our own in, especially relationships. It takes two (or more if that’s your deal) to make them work. That give and take also means that there are going to be a myriad of emotions that play into the overall love in a relationship. Dieg0 displays those using various moments of high and low in the delivery of “Insieme.”
Don’t know if it was intentional, but I also found myself sucked into the routine the song started to adopt. I came to expect certain moments here and there, and for some reason that was comforting. It was like watching your favorite show on repeat and smiling every single time the best part comes on even though you were expecting it. Sort of like love. In a relationship, we learn the ins and outs of our partner(s) and even when they tell the same silly story, we smile. On the flip side, there are moments in a routine that aren’t so great but thankfully – in song, those don’t come through as the entirety of “Insieme” is enjoyable.
Those who live for telling instrumental pieces should give “Insieme” a listen on all major music and streaming platforms today.
