Atlanta, GA based songwriter and vocalist Caroline Reilly is a name that you may have already heard. In 2019, she took the very last spot on Gwen Stefani’s team in world renown show The Voice. This really boosted her career and took it in the direction she needed it to go. After The Voice was over, Caroline really started to put extra work into her music.
At 16, she started to write her own music, she wanted to write music about her experience with heartbreak and how nobody can truly prepare you for it. She describes her new music as bringing back subtle waves of early 2000s pop-punk while also adding her own personal touch to it.
Her newest single, “Break The World”, is about a friend of hers who struggled with an emotionally abusive father and mother. When someone is in a physically, emotionally or verbally abusive relationship, it’s sometimes easy to miss those signs because they act so “normal”. Caroline wrote “Break The World” to let everyone now that they should never feel neglected by the people they love.
This pop punk tune is sure to get you out of your seat and out of your mind. Her vocals are truly amazing and it’s easy to see why Gwen Stefani wanted her on her team. Caroline is making music for the ones in the back who need to be loved, who need to be seen and who needs to be heard.
You don’t want to miss out on the rise of Caroline Reilly, she is going to take over…heck she already is. With relatable lyrics and a catchy tune, it’s hard not to love this song.
“There will never be judgment guys. This song is for those of us who don’t feel heard.” – Caroline Reilly
