“I’m Bent” by 9 o’clock Nasty

Serious question…have you been living under a rock? If you’re not aware of 9 o’clock Nasty’s 6th release this year than clearly you have been sharing living space with Patrick Star. “I’m Bent” is the latest release from the weirdest trio to come out of Leicester, UK and keeping true to who they are, it’s gritty and has hints of classic rock and some psychedelia.

It’s clear that these gents whistle to the beat of their own tune, they seem to not care what anyone thinks and them or their music. This has shown a huge positive response to listeners like you, listeners who aren’t like the “normal” and are deemed as different. If that’s the case, “I’m Bent” is the anthem you will need.

In regards to this single, the guys have been quoted to saying:

“There are ideas our world has about how you should look, how old you should be, your race, your gender, your sexuality. They surround us. Pervade every advert, every news article, every image we see. Can someone different love and be loved?”

The truth underneath that quote may hit home for some of you, making the song mean even more to to you as you listen. 9 o’clock Nasty is proving time and time again that they will provide you with music of all realms and have various topics, some being fun and some being meaningful.

Nine Nasty has also made genuine connections with other musicians, soon to be released is a killer collaboration with I AM THE UNICORN HEAD. “Existential Dread” is set to be released in September and as expected 9 o’clock Nasty has another release on the way “Sleepy Policeman”.

It’s never too late to discover your new favorite artist so it’s a good think you’re here.
