Maybe Human is a name that you will get familiar with very soon, the release of their album “Ape Law” is what they call a musical odyssey that is based on the original Planet of the Apes films. The dystopian 80s sound that Maybe Human brings to the music will instantly have you hooked. If you’re unfamiliar with the film series it’s not worries because after you watch them, the album will be much more appreciated. Each track can be broken down and talked about but why do that when the music speaks for itself. Maybe Human is not a band but one person that you should see live and when you do it will seem to change your life.
Although it isn’t the heaviest music you will hear, you could swear you were twenty pounds lighter because of all the sweat you produced from the baby moshing or dancing under a red light alone, it’s eleven songs of beautiful chaos. They have a way of making you appreciate music and the art that goes behind it, artists like Maybe Human are keeping grunge and goth alive.
Turn it up loud because it feels like you are in the audience in, listening to Maybe Human is like travelling back in time, it isn’t easy but they make it possible. This was meant to be heard and because you may not have been born yet during the era, doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be able to enjoy good music.
Maybe Human is an inspiration, they make you feel refreshed…brand new. They allow you to shed any negativity you have and just put it all out on the dance floor, they give you time to let go and heal. Music is powerful and when it touches your soul you can’t help but to want more.
