“Stand” by Lance Mitchell

Lance Mitchell’s new single, ‘Stand,’ is a testament to his unique sound and undeniable talent. The song opens with an ultra-captivating instrumental, a blend of melodic keys and hard-hitting drums, setting the stage for the sultry vocals of both Mitchell and artist Radiophonic. This unique blend of elements creates a sound that is both familiar and fresh, a true reflection of Lance’s musical prowess. 

‘Stand’ is a powerful anthem about not giving up and never stopping trying to find your passion. Lyrics include positive words such as “You got to fight; fight for what you want,” giving the listeners a shine of hope to not give up on what they want. The lyrics and commanding instrumental make for an influential track in the making.

Lance Mitchell’s musical journey is a testament to his resilience and dedication. Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, he honed his musical skills singing at the Holy Temple Baptist Church Choir. Despite a change in direction towards acting in middle school, he never lost his passion for music. This led him to Hollywood High School for the Performing Arts in 1988. His first film role was in the 1993 release of ‘The Secret Life: Jeffrey Dahmer.’ However, it was in Alaska where he truly found his musical voice, showcasing his unique sound ever since. 

Lance has collaborated with numerous artists, including Compulse Records in the Netherlands, recording nine songs. He also is featured on tracks with big artists like Kill ah Priest, which is a testament to his unwavering commitment to his craft.
