Showcasing her unique voice, Canadian singer-songwriter Carmen Braden has released her latest single “Voice In The Dark,” which is the lead single from her upcoming album A Hard Light, which is set for release on December 5th.
The inspiration for the track came from a unique place, with Braden sharing, “One day there was a major system failure where my friend worked as a radio host. They knew no one could hear them, but they had to keep talking in case the signal managed to get back on air.”
The song uniquely comments on both actual darkness and dark times people go through. The award-winning musician’s production plays a lot with synths and electronic sounds. Building an intentionally sparse world around this deeper story. Her storytelling and production allow her to stand out as a real artist.
