In “Smile It Out,” alternative singer-songwriter Will Chatters taps into a familiar ache with a fresh, heartfelt touch. Inspired by the early 2000s folk and indie rock scene, Will returns to his acoustic roots, delivering a track that feels like an open diary entry nostalgic, emotional, and quietly uplifting.

The lyrics capture the emotional confusion that comes after a breakup. Lines like “I disappear from the street / I won’t return for infinity” and “it’s gonna hurt sometime to think about what we could’ve been” show Will wrestling with absence and the lingering pain of what once was.
