Q: Hey Aydren! We are so excited to have you on Rising Artists, we love your music! Tell our audience more about you.
AYDREN: Hey there! It’s so good to be here! I’m a Filipino-American singer/producer/songwriter having fun doing what I do. Music has always been a part of me and I try to create songs to really channel out the inexplicable parts of my feelings and whatnot.
Q: You self-write, produce and perform your original music, that’s very impressive! Where is your inspiration from?
AYDREN: It comes from a variety of places, though mostly from small mundane bits of life that I like to magnify and write around. What could start off as a simple chill in the wind or a herb in my garden, could grow to deeper themes that can be universal to us as people.
Q: Is there a collaborator that you enjoy working with consistency?
AYDREN: I have a few in mind. Of course this latest track I worked with Da Illest, who I had a great experience with. Aside from that some other collaborators I wish to work with again include Zendt, JaySee, and Mikara.
Q: How would you describe your music in your own words?
AYDREN: Thematically it’s a lot of universal things that all people go through, but the “genre” I’m producing falls under uplifting electronic pop. I’m always listening to new music and drawing new influences so it’s only a matter of time before I discard the label and try something new 😉
Q: Do you have any live performances we can catch you at soon?
AYDREN: As of now, not yet. I’m setting up a room in my house to live stream DJ sets, but with Covid still ongoing it may be a while before live shows are in the picture.
Q: What can we expect from you next?
AYDREN: New music! As always I’m creating and writing. I have some new material with some old friends that I’m looking forward to releasing when “Never Forget You” has been promoted and played.
