Q: How would you describe your music?
LEX: Alternative Hip Hop. My recent music is high energy and mixes sounds from many different genres.
Q: What are your ambitions as a songwriter and musician from here?
LEX: I want to continue to make great music while growing as an artist/person. I’ve begun learning instruments and getting my hands into production. I have a dream of producing a soundtrack for a movie or video game in the future!
Q: I heard some references in Wanted, are you part of the LGBTQ community?
LEX: Yes, proudly! I’m bi-sexual 🙂
Q: There’s a very 90s vibe in Wanted, who are your female rapper inspirations?
LEX: Sooooo many. Like all of them haha, but off the top…MC Lyte, Remy Ma, Rah Digga, Missy Elliot, Lil Kim, Foxy Brown, Eve, Da Brat, Roxanne Shante…
Q: If you could go open a show for any artist who would it be?
LEX: I would love to open for Rapsody again. That was a great show.
Q: Out of the ones who have inspired you to make music, who would you most like to collaborate with?
LEX: Q-Tip. #1 Dream collaboration for me!
