Music can be heard anytime and any season but “Make It Happen” by Rex is perfect for the Summer because it has that vibe of Summer flings and crushes. Even though we’re in the Fall season, you’re still encouraged to listen to the track — it’s very youthful and liberating.
For one, Rex’s angelic voice seizes your attention. The amount of softness and elegance is beyond incredible. It’s also impressive how the instrumentals blend well with her voice instead of overpowering them, especially considering her voice is softer. And speaking of instrumentals, one cannot ignore the ‘80s influence heard in the synth-pop record.
Regardless of Rex being an emerging artist, she has had quite a background in music. From being professionally trained at the prestigious London College of Creative Media (LCCM) to selling out venues, Rex is one incredibly talented artist who is just getting started.
