Luch Stefano, the UK-based singer/songwriter, sounds as good as ever on his newest release ‘Night Ride’. From a funky groove to powerful vocals, there’s something for everyone on this awesome new song. Beautiful melodies come and go easily. The lyricism is brutally honest and fun. Whenever the catchy melody established in the beginning reoccurs it’s tweaked slightly making it constantly interesting. Supported by cool guitars throughout, the expansion of the vibe is unforgettable.
One of my favorite parts of this song is the storytelling and how well it’s developed and executed. Lyrics feel like they’re coming from a friend, and when paired with the easy-going melody lines it’s infectious. The different voices come together and everything just feels right. Not only was it approachable, but it’s one of those songs that just stays stuck in your head for hours after listening. Guaranteed to put you in a good mood.
By the time the beat changes the song changes tone and delivery – opting for drum kits and synths in addition to the cool guitar. Driven by the rolling hi-hats and interjections from a myriad of different voices, everything came together phenomenally. Cool transitions help piece each different section together – making everything feel seamless and conducive to the dance-like vibe.
Light-hearted and just fun to listen to, ‘Night Ride’ deserves all the attention it gets. Between the groovy instrumental and addicting vocals it has already found its way onto multiple of my playlists. It shows off Stefano’s personality as much as his prowess with songwriting. It’s catchy, fun, and can turn around any bad day.
