The 18-year-old singer/songwriter from Paris, France, PR6TTY E is bringing the energy of the late 70’s punk rock through powerful and catchy vocal work, he likes to define his music as “electropunk”. It blends elements from pop, techno, punk, rock and trap. PR6TTY E started his musical career as part of the “Soundcloud/Mumble Rap” scene a couple years ago but has since distanced himself from his cloud/emo rap roots and is now moving towards a more complex musical endeavor.
His latest song “Games” is about cocaine-filled parties and his restless quest to success in the music industry. “Games” starts off with a heavy synth and immediately gets you in the dancing mood, the song transports you to a post punk time and you just want to dance under a red light. The song feels futuristic and nostalgic at the same time.
Trying to succeed while “keeping your nose clean” is hard in any industry you choose. It is especially hard in the music industry, it’s easy to acquaint drugs with success. PR6TTY E is letting out all of his feelings towards that topic and it’s hard to disagree.
