Q: I love the energy of “What Do We Do Without Love.” What was the inspiration behind the song?
Antonio Jean: I wrote this song back in 2017, a time in my life where so much was going wrong with homelessness, money problems, sick parent, and a whole lot of other things that made 2017-2019 HELL(All Caps). This song represents one of the the things that kept me going, “Love”. The love from my partner, my mom(god rest her soul), and the love of God overall. Yes love can be up, and down but if it’s strong, genuine, and keeps your heart a glow then it can make us happy as it did me. That’s why “what do we do without love” is so important because it’s the symbol of my life, and the joy we I want to spread to all people across the whole world.
Q: What did you enjoy most about making this track?
Jean: I enjoyed writing the work, and bringing it all together with the final master of it. Because that’s where you get to really feel the full throttle of the work/piece.
Q: Who would you most like to collaborate with, if it could be anyone in the world?
Jean: Adele because she has so much passion, and heart in every lyric, sound, and part just like me. So I know we could do a ballad that would touch many hearts, and change many lives.
Q: In your own words, how would you describe the music that you typically create?
Jean: The music I create would have to be described as heartfelt, passionate, motivating, and True, true to my life’s struggles, and experiences all the way.
Q: What projects are currently in the works?
Jean: I have my next soon to be a HIT single in the works, and it’s all about gaining strength, and freeing ourselves from the people, and things holding us back from real happiness/joy. A pop ballad with electrifying guitars that’ll give you chills, and notes that’ll touch your heart. I’m so excited for people to hear it.
Q: Any parting words to your fans?
Jean: Yes, just remember that life is what you make it, and success is what you put into it. But most of all keep loving, keep inspiring, and never give up on yourself or what makes you who you are because LOVE WINS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
