“Street Fights” by RedrumSociety

Guitarist and singer Zach Cohen started RedrumSociety in 2008 in South Florida and is keeping the name alive. The group originally was started by four newly made friends, Esperanzo Wilcox, Esdras Reymond, and Dylan Lerner, through some life happenings the group disbanded. Although the group isn’t a fully group anymore, they contribute with helping Zach on some songs. In 2020, “Street Fights” was one of the first albums to get released from RedrumSociety.

“T Money Green Strikes Again”….the perfect intro to a perfect album. The 19 second song quickly gets you hyped up for the album, it instantly transports you to a video game. Self titled song “Street Fights” is an upbeat classic rock song, which Cohen describes as helping voice the frustration and insecurities you are facing in these difficult times. “Street Fights” is in RedrumSociety’s top three songs and it is obvious why this song is such a hit.

A classic clean drum sound is something everyone needs every now and then and that’s exactly what “Look Out” provides. The vocals that Zach provides is exactly what the song needs, he is an amazing vocalist and guitarist who needs to keep putting his music out into the world.

As the album comes to an end, you come across “Love You No More” and “With My One and Only” which can be seen as two very different love songs. “Love You No More” sticks to a grungy, alt rock sound while “With My One and Only” is more upbeat but they both provide the same kind of message.

If you have been listening to the album and wondering what happened to T Money, have no fear an explanation is here. The last song “You Haven’t Seen the Last of T Money Green” is a brief outro to let you know that more is coming. RedrumSociety is an irresistible band that you will instantly fall in love with, you will fall into this rabbit hole of RedrumSociety and before you know it, you have heard all the music. The smile all your face will tell you everything you need to know about RedrumSociety.
