Coming from Rohnert Park, CA is Alex Torres, a multi talented solo artist who describes his music as indie rock, alternative hip-hop, and electronica. Alex has a background is drums, bass, guitar, synths, keys and vocals, and his music writing journey began in 2017 when he was 19 years old. Now in 2022 at the age of 24 Alpha Kenny 01 released his first single of 2022 off his new EP “Curtains in the Living Room”.
“Astral Sports” is a mixture of hyperpop and energy drinks. The fast, crazy, high energy, upbeat songs makes you want to run for miles in a world that has exaggerated color and where the animals talk to you. According to Alex, the song idea came to him because of a school project where he was instructed to create all of the sound for a clip of the video game Super Mario Galaxy.
