“Serendipity” feels like the equivalent of being wrapped in a warm blanket. Carolee’s buoyant, almost-theater-like vocals create a warm atmosphere right away. The title of the track alone brings a happiness into the listener’s heart, and as soon as one hears Carolee’s breathtakingly fun and beautiful voice, a smile will not leave the listener’s face. “Serendipity” is a strong take on turning our inner weaknesses into strengths, and by the end of the track, it’s impossible to not believe in ourselves, even if it is just for a little.
Carolee Rainey is no stranger to the music industry and doing what it takes to be a part of it. From running away from school to live out her passion and sleeping in random hotels and even on the streets, Carolee has not given up on her dream. She’s performed in numerous jazz and country bands and played at bars, clubs, and even cruise ships.
