‘CCC’ by OH.Tae

No matter who you are, there will always be people who are against you. The good news is, in most cases, their opinion doesn’t matter. Life can already be stressful enough without worrying about what other people think. At the end of the day, the only people whose opinions matter are your own and the people who truly care about you. Oh.Tae explores the idea of taking it easy and not caring about opposition in her latest single ‘CCC.’

‘CCC’ captures an ideal lo-fi R&B beauty within it. Its trap-influenced drum beat gives it a nice chillhop feel, and the ethereal vocals are sure to capture your attention. OH.Tae uses this single to show just what she can do with her voice. She does an amazing job at singing both softly and powerfully, and she has a way of dashing the perfect amount of hip-hop flow into things. Listening to this track feels so nice. It has an absolute chill vibe, and it’s the perfect song to have your next smoke sesh to.

In an official press release, it’s stated that ‘CCC’ “is a true depiction of what a stroll on a Sunday sounds like.” It seems to capture the message that OH.Tae doesn’t care about opposition. It’s a track about just living, even though there are people who won’t like what you’re doing. Even though some won’t get the vision behind what you create, there are also people who definitely will. As some lyrics in this track state, “Only a few that can picture the vision.”

‘OH.Tae’ is an independent San Antonio-based musician and producer with a dynamic flow and vast range of influences. Her discography displays her creative mind wonderfully, her latest four singles especially showing off her well-crafted musicianship and lyricism. OH.Tae started sharing music through a YouTube channel covering popular songs and eventually started releasing her own music on SoundCloud in 2018. She more recently has been working to release a track every couple of weeks, and so far each track has had such a captivating vision. ‘CCC’ is the second of four tracks so far, and OH.Tae has just dropped her most recent release, ‘Ring the Alarm.’ These most recent four singles show a distinct evolution in OH.Tae’s musicianship, and you know there’s more to come soon. What more could you ask for?
