Something is intriguing about the things we cannot have. It’s why we crave certain beverages before we’re 21, want to explore places with no trespassing signs, and why we tend to give in to certain people despite red flags and every warning sign underneath the sun. Sharl captures the latter in the latest, “Outside,” one of the many greats to be found on her August 26th release, ‘City Lights.’

Sharl doesn’t mince words. Whoever is on the receiving end, she is letting them know right off the bat that she has heard all the naysaying that goes along with their name. Despite all of that though, she also wants to take a chance – so long as no one knows about it. We have all been there or will eventually do that. Giving into temptation, Sharl goes for it in more ways than one with this insanely catchy piece of pop. Those who love the likes of Britney Spears and Kylie Minogue will enjoy Sharl as she gives that same turn of the millennium, pulsating pop that interlaces dance beats music throughout.

With ‘City Lights’ on the way, fans both new and old have been getting a taste of what’s to come since earlier this year as Sharl has been on a release marathon. From the sincerity of “Hanging On” to the more rock ways of “3 Words,” Sharl has been delivering layers upon layers of what she is capable of and then some. To hear “Outside” and more, make sure to check out Sharl on all major music and streaming sites today.
