J.C uses a mixture of guitar instrumentals in the background while drops of bass and doing this, forms perfectly with his voice.
This singer, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist has stepped onto the scene and his timing has never been better.
We love this slow, edgy song about love and relationships, and this takes a lot, it can be nerve racking to be open and honest, but Jethro’s execution of not revealing too much and only revealing just enough is perfect for those looking for a new artist to press play on.
Coups not only places his feelings(or his subjects’ feelings and emotions) into a song well, but he also has an amazing range of vocals.
“Hey You” is innocent and deep, but goes places that we wouldn’t expect from a first single. We love the reassurance that J.C gives his subject, letting them know that “everything will be alright.”
This is something we need more of in the music world, when it comes to love, we want to hear music that sounds like it’s being sang to us and it’s made for us, Jethro tackles that in 4:57 and makes it seem like a piece of cake.
