SpünDay is a trio from Tonypandy in the United Kingdom. The consist of Scunge as guitarist and also on vox, the super cool bassists is Daf, Chich is killing it on the drums. They all met at a Melt Banana concert and the rest is history. “ICE-TV” was recorded in The Loft studios, Tonypandy in the Rhondda Valley by weirdo producers Set Phasers to Scunge.
When asked SpünDay said that “ICE-TV” is about a hallucinatory journey into the seedy underbelly of the darker aspects of a persons psyche, revealing hitherto unknown depravities and interests. If you have never been to the seedy underbelly of your psyche then you have not quite experienced life. When digging into yourself it’s always an insane journey and sometimes you aren’t prepared, but when you dig into the deepest darkest parts of your psyche you can never be prepared.
You can also never be prepared for SpünDay, their music is a journey itself. They take you on the trip you knew you needed but didn’t know how to access, they help you open and let go,”ICE-TV” is the ayahuasca of music. When you are done listening you are left with that “what the fu** just happened vibe”.
Just like ayahuasca, SpünDay’s latest single “ICE-TV” is meant to help you calm the hell down and just enjoy life. When you get done listening to so much jam packed action in just a mere two minutes, you feel relieved, you were able to let out all that you needed to.
SpünDay doesn’t make music for the average person, they make music for people who are ready to experience life. They are a trio that you don’t want to miss out on.
