Jane N’ The Jungle is a legendary band from Phoenix, Arizona and is fronted by the such an amazing, inspiring woman herself, Jordan White, she does the songwriting and sings lead vocals. Jordan is accompanied by a guitarist who brings the grit and grime, Brian Dellis and also Big B, who bring the big bass lines in Jane N’ The Jungle.
This latest single from the trio was written by Jordan on night while she was at a local dive bar, she was hanging with Ayron Jones and when the lyrics can to her, she wrote them down on a napkin. “DIRTY DOG” is about a personal sexual assault, it captures the abandon and precision that was experienced.
“DIRTY DOG” is the anthem that everyone needs to hear, the trauma and pain behind the song comes across very boldly in this single. Jane N’ The Jungle is giving just the right amount of angst, anger, and freedom, it’s giving you a chance to let go of all that you’ve been holding on to.
The song hits heavy but yet there is a soft undertone to it, “DIRTY DOG” makes you want to scream, cry, head bang, mosh, it makes you want to run until your lungs give out. This is an aggressively soft song that you can’t get enough of, Jane N’ The Jungle should be your favorite band if they aren’t already.
The group keeps making hit after hit and they show no sign of slowing down, the hard hitting rock band makes you feel….everything.
