Hello Amnesia is a five piece band that consists of members from all over the world. Hailing from Wales/New Zealand comes vocalist Sean Arkless. Samuel Oliveira is a drummer from Portugal, bassist Wes Burton is from Huddersfield, Kaan Yurdakul is the guitarist and is from Turkey, the man behind the keys is Marco Ragozza from Italy.
“Suzy Blue” is the second single off upcoming debut EP “Retrograde”, this single which is following the bands first release “Cute Narcissist”, does not disappoint. “Suzy Blue” is keeping true to a rock n roll song, this is a very nostalgic song, it feels almost like you grew up listening to Hello Amnesia.
Bassist Wes Burton shows off his incredible skills, about halfway through “Suzy Blue” there is a an epic bass solo that you wish would not stop. It adds an amazing layer to the song. As the song continues and as Sean Arkless continues his singing, the band stops playing he hit a high note that just won’t quit. This prompts the band to start playing again except faster and all it makes you want to do is bounce off the walls.
Hello Amnesia is a band that you won’t want to miss out on . With only two singles out in the world, it makes you yearn for more. The upcoming EP “Retrograde” is something you can’t help but to be excited about. You will regret not following them on Spotify, you don’t want to miss what’s next.
