Wow…they’re back again and this time they’ve brought friends. Nine nasty has paired up with I Am Unicorn Head to create a song you need in your life, it’s something you may be very familiar with “Existential Dread”. The months of hard work becomes very apparent as soon as you click play…so go ahead, click play and lets the worries fade away.
The two groups carry a wild sound individually so when put together, what happens? You get a cross between indie and garage rock sprinkles with some psych. The track makes you want to go to a dark basement and turn on one red light and just let it all out. Maybe you scream, maybe you break things, maybe you cry. “Existential Dread” provokes many emotions.
The song seems to be the most in control song these groups have had, the teamwork has proven to be successful. “Existential Dread” is a song that won’t get out of your head, it has a nostalgic feel to it and makes you feel warm inside. You will not be able to stop yourself from repeating existential dreadddddd over and over. The ending of the track puts it all into perspective.
Let’s hope that these two groups collaborate again, if they keep putting out songs like this then pretty soon they will have an album released together. This track really is one that leaves many impressed. Keep an eye out, more amazing things are guaranteed to come.
