If you’re looking for music that is upbeat and will brighten your day, look no further than Raymond Revel. His newest single “Nowhere Close To Famous” is easy-listening that sends a positive message.
Revel is a master of his craft. The Fort Worth, Texas-based musician has been producing, mixing, singing, and writing his own music over the course of many years. And although some of his music has seen promising success on Spotify and Apple Music, Revel remains an independent artist. He embraces the fact that he’s “nowhere close to famous” and celebrates the joys of ordinary life in his newest release.
“Nowhere Close To Famous” is a bright, dreamy pop song with an 80’s vibe. It’s tied together with a super-catchy electric beat that’ll pull you out of your seat and onto the dance floor. It’s clear in Revel’s production of the track as well as the happy tone of his voice that “Nowhere Close to Famous” was fun to make. His lyrics are bursting with authenticity and it’s easy to see that Revel doesn’t take fame too seriously.

Not many people look me up
No one would really recognize me
No one except for those I love
The song is about relishing in small victories and appreciating all that you have. It’s a message that anyone can get behind whether they’re also in the music industry or having trouble climbing the ladder in their respective field. It’s easy to get caught up in trying to make it big so it’s important to slow down and take a moment to be grateful.
Revel’s authentic positivity is incredibly refreshing. Many up-and-coming artists can take great inspiration from his ability to find the silver lining.
