Up-and-coming DJ and producer James Clav’s new single, “Give It To Me,” is an energetic, captivating EDM track. The ultra-catchy song has lyrics, “Give It To Me,” echoing throughout, creating an idyllic, stuck melody in your head for days. The repeating keys add an uplifting, danceable vibe to the track, making it impossible not to nod your head and get excited to move. James Clav’s sound is unique, almost like an explosion waiting to burst in the best way possible.
“Give It To Me” has an old-school vibe, feeling reminiscent of 80s and 90s electronic dance music. The sultry vocals repeating the lyrics “Give it to me” throughout just further this nostalgic vibe. The song opens with an infectious beat, which continues to get louder and more robust as the song continues. The sonic backdrop and the disco-esque vocals continue building momentum, which comes together flawlessly—even coming to a soft, almost relaxing ending. As the beat gets slower and quieter, the song resorts back to the beginning of the track.
James Clav was born and raised in the Midlands of Ireland and relocated to the French Alps to pursue music. Although James has only been DJing for three years, he has already crafted a distinctive sound that is guaranteed to get anyone up and dancing. He performed at Tomorrowland Winter 2023 and is just beginning his musical journey.
